What is and what to do if you think you have Celiac's Sprue Disease? And exactly what can you do yourself, free, to figure this out and correct it?
It is a rare (One in 133 have it they think), hereditary,
severe malnourishment disorder that causes the small intestine to have
an autoimmune response to gliaden, found in most gluten. Which is
found in most grains, and thereby, all grain products and additives.
It is often misdiagnosed and often goes undiagnosed completely.
There is a specific VERY itchy
rash that is associated with it, "Dermatitis Hepitiformus." But you
can have Celiac's, and not the rash. But if you have the distinctive
rash, YOU HAVE CELIACS. To me, it's a lot better than the suggested
blood tests, intestinal biopsies, and the like, since they, too, can be
false positive.
There's one easy and foolproof
way to know for sure, and I'll detail it, below.
What happens is, the villi
(Little wormy things) in the small intestine are killed off by the
allergenic reaction by exposure to gluten. They absorb nutrients,
especially B Vitamins and Folic Acid.
These are now known to be
important to brain function, and are now routinely dosed out to elderly
people with I've read on the Internet that the
toxins produced actually affect the neurons of the brain, itself, and
thusly affect brain function, and thereby one's demeanor (And
subsequent appearance to others.) The brain actually produces endomorphines, stronger than morphine, itself, so people even thing one is on drugs, etc.I will explain in detail from my own
experiences.
Vitamin B shots help a lot with the "Neuopathy" caused by the vitamin B deficiency in the small intestine. That means the "Absent Minded Professor" effect, as well as the horrendous "Pins and Needles," in the palms and soles of the feet one gets on occasion.
The toxins produced affect all
the organs of the body and the mind. From liver blood sugar mood
swings to the thyroid's causing intolerance to cold and on. It can
shut down the small intestine entirely and scar it, and provides for
"Gastrointestinal Distress" and the subsequent mental and social
discomforts thereof.
To include bloating, gas,
reflux syndrome, bad breath, disruptive constipation, sudden and
explosive diarrhea, and when it all does let up, one can be scared to
death by the rectal bleeding. It even contributes to hemorrhoids.
One risks a 500 fold increase
in the risk of intestinal cancer.
And this after the permanent
poison ivy-type rash, having its own effect on the mind. Of course,
when one is in constant pain, the brain emits its own endorphins,
painkillers that are said to be stronger than morphine.

This reminds me of my Karate
Training. I have read where, after a lifetime of such exhausting
workouts and pain, right around 8th Degree Black Belt, such constant
self-medication, as it were, comes to a point where another brain
chemical is released. Something like LSD, it allows the well-known
ability to foresee danger, and perhaps events in general.
Things many religious figures
are credited with.
Celiac's makes one appear as if
"Mentally Ill, or Retarded." Or, believe it or not, seemingly
"Perverse." For what it does to short-term memory, especially, and the
metabolism.
The grand irony of this is how
society everywhere has a genetic reaction to this demeanor and will
demean, exploit, mistreat, cheat, brag in front of, ignore, and even
try to kill someone with it. An irony of this "Dumbed Down" effect is
that it depletes one of natural reaction, making people think one
doesn't recognize them, for example. A mind-set whereby one gets so
used to society's mistreatment, that one gets a fine judgement and
measures for any retaliation any normal person would pursue.
I once was punched in the nose,
broken, by a bully, when young, for example, and simply stood there, to
his amazement. There was no use, to me, in continuing the fight, at
all, and my reaction confused him so much to cause him to simply stop
and desist.
(Yes, I had turned the
proverbial "Other Cheek." But for these physically-based dietary
reasons, not anything else.)
Another irony is that it has a
way of making one to some to be as if completely seemingly "Daft," and
harmless, and many will simply not get up the "Snake-bird" predatory
kind of anger at one.
And this demeanor is especially
prized by Intelligence Officers, as covert agents. I remember my own
Agent Handler discussing this with the likes of former Attn. General
Meese, for example (As you will read in My Files) and with a
high-ranking Isreali Intel Officer, who "Happened" to put forth that
some Jewish researchers even believed that Jesus may have been Celiac.
In fact, he thought that such
demeanor, and subsequent deep, almost religious experiences, gave Jesus
such a deep, insightful look on life that he became such a threat to
the authorities. Why, at the same time, those who understood his true
intellect, could understand his Gospel teachings and admired him for
it. Yet it was so easy for the crowd to give him the proverbial
"Thumbs Down."
That the deep understanding of
"Man's Inhumanity To Man" gave him a following that made him dangerous
to the politicians of the time. That there seemed to go with such a
man, the ability to move and motivate masses of people against the
powerfully corrupt. That perhaps this was the reason Adolph Hitler
sought out threats to his regime, starting out with "Sex perverts,
Mental Retards, the racially and religiously incorrect," and finally
anyone who complained.
I was made by my Agent Handler
to visit the Dachau Concentration Camp, "Arbeit Macht Frei," and see
the ovens, and now I understand why.
In my book, I will list various
Biblical references that could make more sense in this light. For
example, was the "Crown of Thorns" simply the above horrendous rash, (I
get it on the crown of my head, too: That's what it feels like, all
right.) probably the deliberate work, or the forced diet, of his
guards? Even application of gluten to the skin or even the smell of
baking bread has this reaction for some.
Why the big deal of giving Him
vinegar on the cross? Excepting that, as any Celiac knows, most
vinegars are made of grain, and to Him, would have simply been all the
more torture.
I was deliberately made to know
another Celiac while in enlisted service, a SP4 Travis Reardon, as you can
read from other files on this site.
Bottom line is that EVERYONE,
to include myself, badly mistreated Reardon for all the above, simply
thinking that he was "Asking for it." After his diagnosis, special
diet, and return to normalcy, was I truly ashamed, myself, for having
instinctively thought so badly of him. The worst part, it seemed to
me, was the instinctive reaction to his personality as if he were
sexually... Weird? He was so mild as to be as if effeminine, even
without being apparently homosexual in any way. And thereby wanted not
to assist him or be associated with him in any manner for the social
effect such could have.
What to me is now much more
comprehensible, now, why local Volunteer Fire Departments could be so
taken by my false demeanor, aided by long years of false insinuations
and accusations by others, to insist I come to a training session.
After beratement of being a "Sex Pervert," they attempted to get me to
go into a burning trailer exercise with sabotaged breathing equipment
with a couple of big guys so as to "Burn in Hell."
Another "Irony" is in that my
previous Celiac's demeanor meant that, over the years and times I have
reported major crimes and felonies, is that I would always get a
"Knowing smile" and a nodding head reply. And nothing, at least to my
knowledge, ever got followed up on.
This is one example in very
many. It makes me wonder what true suffering ("For our sins") Jesus
must have really endured.
I think I can, Celiac's or not,
simply empathize with why people would want to put someone as innocent
as Jesus on the Cross, simply from my experiences.
Mind you, I know Jesus (From Bible
Class), and I'm no Jesus. But I have had a long experience as said
undercover espionage agent, and the "Study Subject" of "The Manchurian
Candidate Effect," hence my story, and my upcoming book.
But how to cope with Celiac's? I'll
now describe how I have, and suggest to you the same.
Keep a daily dietary log. It's
very simple, you simply take a notebook and draw a line down the middle
of each page. On the left, you date your entry, write down EACH
INGREDIENT of every food, drink and skin lotion you use that day.
Circle or highlight suspected items.
And then on the right side,
detail the day's symptoms, from the severity or lack thereof, of the
rashes, moods, and intestinal discomforts. Then draw a new line for a
new day.
Why? Because it takes days for
me, anyway, for the symptoms to appear. In this manner, I can
backtrack to the offending items, and cut them out of my diet right
away.
For example, my next day's
reaction to gluten ingestion is a burning red irritation on my
forehead, and if I continue, it goes all around my scalp.
The next day my nose and face
flake heavily, as if from a sunburn. Bright red splotches and/or
darkness form on my ankles and shins. If I continue, it gets worse
than poison ivy.
The next several days will
involve the gastrointestinal distress I detailed above.
In ONLY this way, have I been
able to identify the offending foods.
BUT! Further advise: Read
twice each food product label before using. Beware anything from out of
the US, as they don't label as we do. I have eaten cans of mushrooms
from Red China and gotten reactions from "Mushrooms, salt and water."
I can only wonder why they would put gluten in cans of mushrooms,
unless it's the same poisoned stuff they sold us for "Dog Food." Or the melaline-poisoned milk they feed their own people, even.
Beware of "Modified food
starch" and anything that is said to be made with "Vinegar." ("Apple Cider Vinegar" can be a "Blend," watch out.")
WWW.Celiac.com has lists of food products that are safe, those that are suspicious, and are not.
Maintain your own lists!
And eat foods rich in Folic
Acid and B Vitamins. Meat, chicken, pinto beans, dark, leafy
vegetables, and high-fiber foods like brown rice (NOT "Enriched" white
rice).
Two beers brands are safe to my experience,
Red Bridge and Sapporo. Rum, tequila and wines are fine, but avoid gin or vodka
not made from potatoes only. Many wines have the problem of having sulfides added for preservation, and the only red wine I've found that won't cream my sinuses is the 5-liter box of Franzia Cabernet Sauvingnon.
Use zinc oxide (Baby rash
section) on the rash; it's said to hasten the body rid of the toxins
that are the rash. Daily vitamin supplements help too, I think. But
beware that even PERSCRIPTION DRUGS can have unlabeled wheat filler.
I take teaspoons of Metamucil mixed with
and turmeric from your grocery store. (A curry ingredient used in India
said to be why they have less gut cancer) with a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar (All the daily vitamins you could use) along with Ruby Vegetable Concentrate, daily.
And pray a lot. (Doesn't
hurt.)
The rash dissipates within
two weeks and it's said the intestines heal after 6 months on a
gluten-free diet, although the higher risk to intestional cancer takes
five years or so. From my experience, the mental confusion and
demeanor get better and better over time, as well, especially when one
abstains from milk (Casiac) products as well.
